Meet the Flite Team: Kathy Smith

For Kathy Smith, golf was a path that was meant to be.

From her first role attending the PGA Show at the request of a club pro in 2000 to her current role as business development consultant at Flite Golf & Entertainment, Kathy has embraced all the game has to offer.

Kathy’s gift for making connections and her entrepreneurial spirit put her in a tremendous position to help golf course and golf range owners and operators advance their business.

“I love to play golf, the people and working in an industry is steeped in history, professionalism, charity and a game for all ages,” said Kathy.

It was Kathy’s first, fateful trip to the PGA Show that helped launch a career in golf.

“While visiting with the various manufacturers [at the PGA Show] I was offered opportunities to be a sales rep and subsequently opened my own sales agency representing leading soft good lines,” said Kathy.

From there, Kathy launched a career that landed her at Flite helping drive revenue generation for a host of different property types.

As a former small business owner, Kathy is passionate about helping others find the solution that fits their needs and helps future-proof their business operations.

Kathy grew up in Minnesota and attended Minnesota State University where she received degrees in business administration and marketing. She currently resides in Arizona and enjoys a variety of outdoor activities and spending time with family and friends.
